Hi Jane, – Here is our publicity material with all the details.

THE 2024 PALMER SCULPTURE BIENNIAL
Opens on Saturday March 16th
• The Biennial opens on Saturday March 16th and will be open to the public on weekends (11am to 5.30pm) and Wednesdays (2 to 5.30pm) until Sunday April 14th. Please note that entry is free but the catalogue is $10 and it costs $20 to hear the Verandah Music Event. The Palmer Biennial is a CASH ONLY event. All money raised is for the musicians and the ongoing restoration of the landscape.
• It will include works from 22 leading artists; one from overseas and three from interstate. Two emerging artists are included and this year’s Honoured Artist will be Stelarc.
• Stelarc’s works have broken new ground, re-imagining the human body in terms of robotics, AI and virtual systems. At the Biennial, he will be collaborating with emerging artist Anika Gardner. Their work is called “rockProsthesis (metal, muscles, code)”.
• There will also be two exhibitions of paintings in buildings in the landscape, one by John Neylon entitled My Palmer Rocks, and one by Dr Maarten Daudeij called ‘The Glow’ Suite: Celebrations of a Seeing (I-VI) 2018 – 2022.
• On opening day (16th March) the gate will open at 11 am. Visitors can view the sculptures before the official opening which will start at 1:00. The exhibition will be opened by Robert Lindsay former Director of McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery (Victoria) and co-curator of the Biennial. Other speakers will be Greg Johns, Pam Dean MaHthSc and Bill Clifford. The “Verandah Music” event will start at 3:00, featuring some of SA’s finest performers; Jen Lush and band, Aaron Thomas and band, Snooks LaVie and Nick Kipridis.
• The first Palmer Sculpture Biennial was held in 2004, and since then they have gained an impressive reputation both locally and internationally. The event is now one of the longest, continually running sculpture exhibitions in the history of sculpture in Australia. Many people who have experienced past biennials now make a point of attending each new one.
• For those who have not been there before, the property is 3.5 km down the Davenport Road which starts opposite the Hotel at Palmer on the way to Mannum.
can you please tell me where you can view the sculptures? I can’t find the information anywhere on your website
